Fritz has been an executive of The Afrikaans Club of New
Zealand

for a number of years and has played a pivotal role in
organizing many cultural events such as the famous quarterly “Sokkiejol” events
on
Auckland’s North Shore. These events have become legendary over many years,
especially the “Oujaarsdans” has become so popular over recent years that
tickets
are sold out long in advance. Fritz and Marie-Louise have also played major
roles to
present the Club’s annual main event called Kiwikasie when famous South African
artists are brought to New Zealand to perform their cultural hits of today and
yester
year.
